B.YELLOWTAIL

Founded in December 2014 and based in Los Angeles, B.YELLOWTAIL is a fashion line created by designer Bethany Yellowtail, who’s vision and brand values reflect her Apsaalooke (Crow) & Tsetsehestahese & So’taeo’o (Northern Cheyenne) tribal heritage. A celebration of ancestral tradition, beauty, and culture, B.YELLOWTAIL embraces an authentic voice of contemporary Native America through design and wearable art.

The B.YELLOWTAIL COLLECTIVE

is our brand initiative which features art from 15+ Native American makers primarily from the Great Plains tribal regions. All pieces are handmade using time-honored techniques and traditional methods passed down from family generations, resulting in heirloom quality artisanal goods, textiles, art, jewelry, and accessories. With tradition and culture at the heart of B.YELLOWTAIL, we've set out to share more authentic indigenous art with the world while providing empowering, entrepreneurial initiatives for Native people.

SACREDX

Bethany Yellowtail of byellowtail.com has joined forces with Sarah Eagle Heart, CEO of Native Americans in Philanthropy (NAP) to launch SACREDx, a social impact brand.  The powerhouse duo are on a mission to dress the resistance, and bring indigenous voices back to the forefront.

Yellowtail and Eagle Heart’s first collaboration circled around producing a bandana for the Women’s March on Washington, and with overwhelming success the turquoise swath has rapidly grown to become a recognizable symbol for #IndigenousWomenRise. This quickly sparked an immediate call to action, leading to the development of a full-fledged clothing line of “resistance gear.”
